2023 News

Following is some information for the 2023 playing season:

The pickleball courts are playable but we are waiting on net cables for the tennis courts. We hope they will be installed by July 15.

Once we're back on the courts we'd like to encourage weekly get togethers for tennis and pickle ball every Saturday morning at 9 am. Come make friends and improve your game! 

To help spearhead this, Lynette Lissin (BVTC board member) has generously offered to act as coordinator.

Send an email to Lynette at: lwlissin@gmail.com by Thursdays at 8 pm with subject line stating: BVTC this Saturday. In your message, tell her if you prefer:

Tennis (doubles, singles or either) 

Or 

Pickle ball (doubles, singles or either) 

Or

Either of the above 

She will notify those she's heard from about the status (are there enough participants for tennis or pickle ball or both). If there are 4 or more (2 if some singles players) then it's a "go".  The more the better! 

Note that the group will need to self organize on the courts. A BVTC board member may or may not be present.

Two Pickle ball courts are available on court 4. 

BVTC installed numeric locks on the front and rear tennis court doors. Members in good standing have been given the code for 2022. You will receive the 2023 code once your 2023 due are paid. The corner doors are permanently locked because they were being left unlocked too many times. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Non-members may purchase a day pass for tennis and/or pickle ball play at the Bear Valley Adventure Company (gas station) for $20.-. BVAC will also sell high altitude tennis balls and have racquets for rent

Our Tennis Pro Peter Regan has scheduled some tennis and pickle ball clinics as in previous years. Please see fliers at the Bear Valley Adventure Company and in the Lodge/Retail Center or contact Peter directly (see below).
