The snow has melted and two courts are open now and all four courts will be ready for play by May 25th.

Round Robin Tournaments will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at 10:00am, and on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 10:00am.

We will hold our annual Board meeting on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 9:00am court side.  All members are invited to this meeting.  While the details of the agenda have not been firmed up yet we have a standing agenda item to review the financials.  In addition, based on tradition of the last few years, there might be some cookies served!

High altitude tennis balls are available for purchase at the Bear Valley Adventure Company.

BVTC is offering a 4-day tennis camp/clinic July 25 - 28 for adults and young adults, led by Tennis Pro Peter Regan.  Click here for details.

The Bear Valley Tennis Club Potluck and Mixer will be held at 10:00am Saturday August 18, 2018, at the Bear Valley Tennis courts led by Tennis Pro Peter Regan.  There will be doubles play, teams will be paired by ability.  Click here for details.  Escape the heat and enjoy the High Sierra!

The Thursday "Drop-In" will start as soon as the courts are open.  Anybody who wants to play (members and non-members) should come to the courts by 5:30pm for some fun tennis.  Check with Jema at the Sheriff's office if you have any questions.

BVTC installed new numeric locks on all tennis court access doors.  Members will be given the 2018 code upon receipt of membership payment.

Based on the positive response from last year's survey the Board decided to explore and evaluate in 2018 what it would take to add pickle ball on one of our courts, with the goal to have pickle ball available in 2019.  As many of you know pickle ball is the latest "thing" in "tennis" and a standard court can be temporarily adapted to provice 2 pickle ball courts.
