2020 News

In accordance with State and county guidelines the courts closed until the state of California and Alpine county declare it safe to have sports facilities open to the public again. Please check this website for updates.

Following is some information for the playing season once the courts are open:

High altitude tennis balls are available for purchase at the Bear Valley Adventure Company.

The Thursday "Drop-In" will start as soon as the courts are open.  Anybody who wants to play (members and non-members) should come to the courts by 5:30pm for some fun tennis.  Check with Jema at the Sheriff's office if you have any questions.

Two Pickle ball courts are available on court 4.  There are paddles and balls in the bench on the  courts.  Please return the paddles, balls and pickle ball nets how you found them when you finish play.

BVTC installed numeric locks on the front and rear  tennis court doors.  Members have been given a code in 2019. This code will not change for 2020.  The corner doors are permanently locked because they were being left unlocked too many times.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Our Tennis Pro Peter Regan will schedule some tennis and pickle ball clinics as in previous years. However they will only take place if the courts are open per above coronavirus statement. Please look for fliers for details or contact Peter directly (see below).
